How are NJ brokerage rankings measured?
Methods differ. The NJBIZ 2026 commercial real estate brokerage list ranks 25 firms by square feet sold or leased in New Jersey in 2025. CoStar Power Broker awards are based on deals recorded in CoStar. Neither measures fit for your particular property.
Rankings are a starting point
Firm-wide rankings favour firms with large volumes. A broker who has done several deals like yours in your town recently may serve you better than a firm at the top of a statewide list. Ask for specifics and call references.
